Russ Ortisi is Vice President of Information Technology at the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG), where he leads the organisation’s technology and digitalisation strategy. Since joining AIAG in 2005, he has helped guide the group's use of technology to support the evolving needs of the industry association.

Russ is actively engaged in exploring the responsible and practical application of artificial intelligence, including opportunities to improve business processes, quality, supply chain collaboration, and industry standards. His work focuses on balancing innovation with cybersecurity, data privacy, governance, and organisational readiness.

With more than 35 years of leadership experience across the automotive, financial services, and equipment leasing industries, Russ brings a broad business and technology perspective to digital transformation. His responsibilities at AIAG include enterprise technology, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, infrastructure, and digital initiatives.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Oakland University, an MBA in International Finance from Wayne State University, and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies from Sacred Heart Major Seminary. He is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), the Michigan Society of Association Executives (MSAE), and IEEE.
