Mike Matousek is the Director of the Automobile Carriers Conference of the American Trucking Associations, a leading advocacy organization for motor carriers engaged in the transportation of motor vehicles. In this role, Mike is responsible for providing a strong, unifying, and effective voice for motor carriers and allied partners before Congress and federal agencies.

Prior to joining the Automobile Carriers Conference in June 2022, Mike worked for another trucking organization from 2014-2022, and before that he spent eight years (2006-2014) on Capitol Hill working for Congressman John Mica (2006-2008), Congressman Sam Graves (2008-2012) and the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee (2012-2014).

Mike resides in Kansas City, Missouri, with his wife, Brittney, and two sons, Loch (8) and Rourke (2).
