Benjamin Pohl, Manager, Finished Vehicle Logistics Origin Operations at Ford Motor Company.

Benjamin Pohl is responsible for finished vehicle logistics operations from origin, in which he focuses heavily on driver performance, driver counts, railroad performance and estimated time of arrival of the vehicle. He has been with Ford Motor Company since 2013 in a number roles across both inbound logistics and finished vehicle logistics. 

Until taking over his current position in February 2026, he was responsible for quality in vehicle logistics, overseeing all the operations related to damage claims, shipment quality, transportation damage, and testing of all future model products, focused on improving quality, modernising the business, leveraging emerging technologies, and improving the end customers’ experience. He has also led on expert topics related to car hauling and rail conveyance along with other modes of vehicle shipping.  Most recently, he has also taken on responsibility as the OEM Chair of the AAR VEQ Taskforce.

He has a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Materials and Supply Chain Management at the University of Michigan – Dearborn. When he isn’t working, Ben enjoys cooking (not baking), travelling and spending time with friends and family.
