Vice President, Automotive, Americas
DSV

Sven Diefenbacher is Vice President, Automotive, Americas at DSV and a firm believer that most supply chains aren’t broken, they’re just overly complicated.
With a career built across global logistics and automotive networks, Sven focuses on cutting through complexity to create solutions that actually work in the real world. He partners with OEMs and suppliers to rethink how logistics supports production, adapts to volatility, and scales with the pace of change, from electrification to shifting global trade patterns. Originally from Stuttgart, Germany, Sven has lived in Detroit and now Atlanta, building his career across three cities deeply connected to the automotive industry.
Based in Atlanta, Sven is actively shaping DSV’s automotive strategy in the Americas, particularly in the wake of major industry consolidation. His work sits at the intersection of operations, strategy, and transformation, where execution matters just as much as vision.
He is known for being direct, practical, and focused on outcome over buzzwords. Whether it’s optimizing networks, aligning stakeholders, or challenging legacy thinking, Sven brings a point of view grounded experience and isn’t afraid to push the conversation forward. At this year’s Automotive Logistics & Supply Chain Global Conference, he’ll share candid insights on what’s changing in automotive logistics and what leaders need to do differently now.
