Jonathan Flores Cortes is an automotive supply chain and logistics executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience spanning logistics, procurement, network design and operational transformation.

As Head of Logistics Americas at Volvo Cars, he leads the end-to-end logistics strategy and execution across inbound logistics, packaging engineering, intercontinental transport and logistics network optimisation. He is accountable for enabling reliable supplier delivery and uninterrupted vehicle production while driving performance across cost, service, inventory, sustainability, safety and supply chain resilience.

Before joining Volvo Cars in 2024, Jonathan held a series of progressively senior leadership roles with General Motors across North America, including global commodity management, logistics purchasing, intercontinental logistics, packaging and finished vehicle operations.

Throughout his career, he has led large-scale logistics networks, major transformation initiatives, and crisis-response efforts supporting complex global manufacturing operations. He holds a Master of Science in Lean Manufacturing Systems from Kettering University.
