Iván Dávila has been responsible inbound parts logistics at Nissan Group of the Americas since August 2023, overseeing inbound transport and network design, parts and plant logistics for the carmaker’s production in the US. He was previously director of logistics for Nissan Mexico (NMEX) and Nissan Importers Business Unit (NIBU) since 2021. He is responsible for inbound logistics of components to all Nissan factories in Mexico, and outbound logistics to domestic dealers and to more than 80 countries for exports.
He has held numerous roles in manufacturing and supply chain roles at Nissan, including as director manufacturing strategy and planning office (MSPO) and new model launches in Nissan Mexico factories and the COMPAS joint venture with Mercedes-Benz.
In 2009, Iván Dávila gained a degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Aguascalientes, and obtained further degrees from Universidad Panamericana including in corporate finance in 2016 and an MBA in 2017.
