Dan Hankinson is an automotive product stewardship and regulatory compliance leader with more than 20 years of experience spanning package engineering, dangerous goods transportation, and global product compliance.

As Director of Mopar Global Product Regulatory Compliance, Transformation & Governance at Stellantis, he leads regulatory and product stewardship activities for the company’s global parts and service business. His responsibilities include Packaging Extended Producer Responsibility, material content reporting, product certification, dangerous goods transportation, product validation, and compliance governance.

Dan’s background in automotive service-parts packaging gives him a practical understanding of how package design, material selection, logistics efficiency, regulatory obligations, and end-of-life costs connect across the supply chain. He serves as North American Packaging EPR Authorized Representative for Stellantis and Co-Chair of the USCAR Extended Producer Responsibility Working Group.

Dan is President and an Executive Board Member of the Council on Safe Transportation of Hazardous Articles (COSTHA) and a past Chair of the North American Automotive HazMat Action Committee (NAAHAC). He holds an MBA from Walsh College and is an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional.
