Alexander Burnett is the Director of Inbound Logistics and Containers at General Motors, overseeing inbound material strategic engineering, network design/optimization and future program planning. 

He also leads the GM container team which is responsible for engineering, program management and daily container flow operations.  Burnett & team engage cross functionally within GM to optimize material flow throughout the supply chain during the vehicle development process and throughout the production cycle.  

With GM 18 years, Alexander has had a diverse set of responsibilities working regionally and globally; including roles in Logistics, Operational Excellence, Manufacturing, Finance and Global Purchasing & Supply Chain.  He maintains a strong focus on people development, data, systems, collaboration and driving innovation and disruption to achieve strong results.
