Alex Murray leads supply chain functions within the metal forming division at American Axle Manufacturing (AAM), which includes over 40 plants supplying automotive OEMs and tier-1 suppliers. Based at the AAM headquarters in Michigan, Alex supports inventory management, forecasting and tracking, sales and operations planning, as well as providing guidance and leadership to plant supply chain teams. In this role, he also helps define and meet the supply chain KPI’s for the metal forming plants.  Alex has more than 10 years’ experience within supply chain and operations, having held various corporate and plant roles in the automotive industry.  He has a degree in operations management and marketing, from the University of Michigan – Dearborn.
