Partner 2026 Gordie Howe International Bridge

The Gordie Howe International Bridge transforms how people and goods move across North America by creating a direct highway connection between Ontario’s Highway 401 and Michigan’s I-75.
Designed with six traffic lanes, 16 toll lanes and 60 Canada and U.S. inspection lanes, the new crossing and its modern ports of entry will enhance efficiency, reliability and capacity through the Windsor-Detroit trade corridor.
Commercial operators and cross-border commuters can also benefit from Breakaway, the toll discount program unique to the Gordie Howe International Bridge. Registration is free, with members receiving up to 25 per cent off standard toll rates through flexible account options. Vehicles equipped with Breakaway tags simply drive through any open toll lane with the gate opening in seconds. Tolls are automatically deducted from a prepaid account balance or invoiced through monthly billing.
